Independent review and analysis of law enforcement reports, investigative materials, video evidence, traffic and DUI investigations, and related case documentation — for attorneys and private organizations, and for cities and their departments. Reviewed by people who ran the units that produce it.
A review is not built to reach a predetermined conclusion. Where the police work was sound, the summary says so. Where there are gaps — an omission, a report that does not match the video, a procedure that was not followed — the summary identifies them, in plain language, with the record cited.
That is why the practice serves both sectors. In the private sector: defense counsel, law firms, and private organizations with a law enforcement matter to understand. In the municipal sector: city attorneys, risk management, police departments reviewing their own case work, and city administrations and commissions. The same review. The same standard. Whoever sends the file.
Review is conducted on the materials the client provides — whether the client is a law firm, a private organization, or a city. The scope is set in writing before the work begins.
The client receives a written summary: what the materials show, where the record is inconsistent or incomplete, which procedures apply, and what a reviewer with command experience would note. Where the matter calls for it, that summary can be discussed directly with the legal team or with city leadership.
Private sector
Municipal sector
The practice does not take a side by default. It reports what the record supports — for a private client or a public one.
A3’s law enforcement practice is staffed by career law enforcement leadership — over thirty years of service, including command-level experience at a Florida sheriff’s office and a municipal police department, spanning major crimes, traffic and DUI enforcement, crime scene and forensics, general crimes, and community policing.
The people who review the file have run the units that build it. They have assigned the cases, read the reports as a supervisor, and answered for the work. That is a different vantage point than reading a report cold — and it serves a defense attorney and a city manager equally well.
It also means the review is calibrated to what the standard actually is in the field, not what it looks like in a manual.
A3 provides consulting and expert analysis to private-sector and municipal clients alike. The practice reviews materials furnished by the client and delivers written findings and observations.
A3 does not conduct investigations, does not locate or collect evidence, does not perform surveillance, and does not provide legal advice. Legal conclusions remain with counsel.
